PPC Advertising

AKA: How Google and Facebook Make Their Money

What is PPC Advertising?

PPC stands for pay-per-click and is a method of advertising in which you only pay when somebody clicks on your ad.

The great thing about this is that not only is it way more cost-effective, but unlike traditional methods of advertising (such as TV or radio) you can track exactly how many people are seeing your ads and know exactly how much it costs to acquire a new customer from your ads.

Once you know that, it becomes really easy to figure out what’s working and do more of it while eliminating the things that aren’t working.

In fact, pretty much every online ad you can think of is a form of PPC.

For example. Youtube ads

Ever noticed that the first few results on a lot of searches have the word “ad in front of them ?

PPC Advertising The Nick Schulaner Way

When you’re working with me, the first thing I’ll do is to questions to understand your business and how it operates. From there I’ll analyze your ideal customer and do my best to come up with ads that catch their attention, and landing pages that will make them buy or enter their contact info.

Then I plug it all into google ads, walk you through the set up so you know what the ads will look like, and launch them as soon as I get your approval.

The ads might not work right away, and that’s okay. It’s only a problem if the ad account isn’t monitored regularly and/or the person running it don’t know how to solve the problems they could run into.

That’s why every day or so, I will pull up your ad account, and see how it’s doing. If there’s a problem, I identify the problem using my 3-step process, and then adjust the campaigns accordingly.

Not only that, but I will also sit down with you at the end of every month to go over how the ads have been performing and what I’ll be working on next month.

I Only Work With People I Know I Can Help

I’ll admit it, sometimes I get completely stumped. It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes I will look at someone’s website and say “I have no idea how I’d market this”. This usually happens when the business offers a highly obscure product/service OR is in a niche that is banned/heavily restricted from advertising on Google or Facebook.

If I don’t think I can help you, I will tell you right upfront. I’ll say something like “I have no idea how I’d market your business” or “I just don’t know who I’d target with these ads” and that will be the end of it. I’m a huge believer in “If you don’t think you can help them, don’t try to take their money”.
